Georgia Institute of Technology, B.S. in Mathematics, minors in German and Physics
Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he also minored in German and Physics. At Georgia Tech, Thomas served in student government, was a Math Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Ambassador, and played club basketball. After working for a while in finance, Thomas has returned to his true passion: teaching. Thomas enjoys traveling and learning languages and has an eclectic taste in music and literature, so don't hesitate to ask him about his experiences or give him any recommendations.
You can also talk to him about your extracurricular activities, whether you are looking to expand on your current projects or looking for a new project and need to brainstorm ideas. Thomas will help you find and develop the perfect extracurricular activity for you.
What LogicPrep Tutors Say About Thomas…
Thomas is super-approachable—his students feel really comfortable working with him. He’s like the cool older brother that every about-to-graduate student wants to have.
Because of Thomas’s experiences (growing up in São Paulo, attending St. Paul’s, completing the IB Diploma, going to college in the US), he is really able to connect with his students and understand what they’re going through. I sometimes like to say that he’s “one of them.”
Thomas is a math genius, and he’s so passionate about math that he makes it seem easy. His goal is to make each student enjoy math as much as he does.
Thomas is super tall, and he has a big personality to match. He loves to chat, and he can talk with anyone about anything. It’s easy to lose track of time when having a conversation with him!
