CASEY
TUTOR • College Essay Coach
University of California, Los Angeles, M.F.A. in Dance
Princeton University, B.A. in English (magna cum laude)
Casey is a choreographer, writer, and educator. She holds an MFA in Dance from UCLA and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton with a BA in English and certificates in Creative Writing and Dance.
Casey is passionate about storytelling as a way to connect us more deeply to ourselves and to each other. To this end, she has created award-winning poetry and dance while at Princeton and UCLA. She believes that writing takes bravery and honesty, and she brings these values to each lesson, through LogicPrep Essay Coaching, LogicPrep Tutoring, and The Jesse Kolber Foundation scholar program. When she’s not touring, writing, or teaching, Casey is probably trying out vegan ice cream recipes or reading about the mind-body connection.
What LogicPrep Tutors Say About Casey…
Casey has a very dry sensibility; she's simultaneously smart and chill in a way that makes intelligence cool.
Casey is so supportive and really understands the balance between test prep and holistic growth for students.
She is always able to ground her students when they are feeling anxious or overwhelmed.
I'm in a writing workshop with Casey. She is an incredibly big-picture thinker. I always REALLY appreciate her feedback on my own writing, and I think any student would be lucky to have her ears and eyes on theirs.
