Jess' career has taken her from clinical genetics to marketing to education to communication, but throughout, she has always been a writer. Jess is a contributing author to the Amazon bestselling book, Deserts to Mountaintops: The Pilgrimage of Motherhood and has penned several blog series. Her latest endeavor, The Joy Luck Club, is a personal exploration of joy following years of trauma including the unexpected death of her mother and her husband’s recovery from a tragic motorcycle accident.

When she is not supporting students through the college process, Jess helps authors bring their books to life as a ghostwriter and facilitates retreats in fun places for writers at every stage of their writing journey.
