ADAM
Tutor • College Essay Coach
Yale University, B.A. in Music and Literature (Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude)
Adam is an actor, writer and composer who has performed on Broadway and around the world. He has written musicals about topics ranging from Polynesian myths to the election of the Pope. He has been passionate about music and stories (and Italian!) ever since performing in operas as a kid, and his passions took him to Yale University, where he earned a double-major BA in Music and Literature, and then to New York, where he fulfilled a lifelong dream playing a young Italian man in The Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center. He also volunteers his time tutoring ACT/SAT lessons to underserved students through The Jesse Kolber Foundation scholar program. Adam loves literature, music, languages, numbers, and coffee (not necessarily in that order) and loves to get other people to love them too. This is exactly what he aims to do with his students at LogicPrep (except for the coffee part, which is optional).
What LogicPrep Tutors Say About Adam…
He melts away the anxiety in the room.
Brings a very positive energy, welcoming to everyone, & seems to really go the extra mile (sometimes literally, going for a run between students!)
Adam is patient and a great listener! He’s also insanely good at the piano—I’ll never forget the time he sight-read a bunch of complex Billy Joel music without breaking a sweat.
Smiles for DAYS!
Favorite Book Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevksy. A classic novel that’s also a nail biter. Nutritious and delicious!
Hidden Talent I voice animated creatures (listen for me in Frozen!)
Favorite Nerd Ira Glass, host of “This American Life”
