DANIELLE
College Advisor & Former NYU Admissions Officer
Danielle began her career in admissions at Smith College as a Senior Interviewer and further developed her admissions expertise as an Admissions Officer at New York University. While at NYU, she became fascinated by the diverse stories that applicants shared through their essays, interviews, and other application materials. Danielle developed a strong desire to pursue a career that would allow her to share her professional admissions insights with families navigating the college application process.
As an Advisor, Danielle's goal is to help students craft personal narratives that will allow them to be impactful candidates, as well as to help them find deeper meaning in a process that can, at times, feel stressful and impersonal. In addition to her endeavors in admissions, she has worked as a Program Manager at an entrepreneur support organization designing programs to support early-stage Black and Latinx women entrepreneurs in building successful tech-enabled startups. Danielle is a former Fulbright Fellow, Education Pioneers Fellow, and Program Associate at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation where she managed the operations for four selective fellowship programs designed to support graduate students and junior faculty from underrepresented backgrounds.
Danielle's two favorite places in the world are Tam Kỳ, Vietnam and the Washington Square Park Robin Kovary Run for Small Dogs in New York City. In her free time, she loves going to music festivals, spending time with her miniature poodle, and indoor cycling.
