ERIC

College Advisor
Former Tufts Admissions Officer

Eric has dedicated his career to shaping the future of education through a multifaceted approach. While in admissions at Tufts University, Eric worked with colleagues who fostered an eye for detail across thousands of applications and trained in Committee-Based Evaluation.

As an experiential learning expert and instructor at Boston University, Eric had the privilege of guiding students in the art of creating equitable classroom spaces and crafting engaging lesson plans. His role as an academic advisor at BU broadened his perspective on the pressing questions of today’s college students. Now, as part of a dynamic team of educators, researchers, and community change-makers at a Boston-based nonprofit, he is deeply committed to empowering folks of all backgrounds towards success academically and in all aspects of life.

Eric is an avid researcher in education policy, particularly in the context of college access and building robust, supportive networks for students transitioning from high school to college. He currently serves on his local municipal scholarship committee as an advisor to their application review process. In his free time, you can find him traveling between his hometown of LA and his current home base of Boston, saving plenty of restaurants and art museums to his Google Maps along the way.

KEVIN

Global College Advisor
Former Cornell, UVA, and UC Berkeley Application Reader

Having worked at the forefront of career and university counseling in both the UAE and the wider Middle East for the past seven years, Kevin takes great pride in advising students on how to pursue their best-fit pathways after secondary school. Prior to arriving in the UAE, Kevin gained experience working for some of the world’s most renowned institutions in the USA, in the admissions departments of Cornell University, the University of Virginia, University of California Berkeley and Tufts University, among others.

Kevin specializes in mentoring students to pursue higher education outside of the U.S., with many of his prior students attending the top universities in countries like the Netherlands, Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Italy, Qatar, Turkey, and many more. Through his experience, Kevin developed the knowledge of what it takes to gain entry to the top universities around the world, and which countries would be the best fit for a wide range of students, depending on their personal and academic goals.

Kevin is excited to bring this experience to LogicPrep and guide students as they craft their applications for acceptance to their universities of choice. Kevin believes in a bespoke, carefully tailored approach to university counseling that is unique to each student, and he looks forward to sharing his knowledge about Asian university destinations with our students and their families.
