Erika was born and raised in midcoast Maine. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology from Bates College, where she also captained the women's tennis team, and later earned her Masters Degree in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is passionate about working with students through the college process and—in addition to her extensive admission experience—has recently served as the Director of College Counseling at an independent boarding school in the US.
She has traveled all over the world in her admission roles but has worked most closely with students from New York City, the D.C. metro area, and New England. In addition to her broad understanding of the college process, Erika brings her love of guacamole making, outdoor adventuring, puppy cuddling, live music listening, and crossword puzzling to the LogicPrep team. She also volunteers her time advising underserved students through The Jesse Kolber Foundation scholar program.
